Hi, my name is Hanna. I'm a Swedish textile professional on a journey to a self-sufficient farm life in a log home in Sweden. When I don't grow vegetables or hike in the woods, I make sustainable hand tailored clothes and other textile items in our house.

I love to make beautiful things with my hands, I've always been a very creative person, so I try to make everything that I need in life, instead of buying new things. I'm also crazy about vintage furnitures, clothing and vintage goods, so if I ever shop- I love to stroll around at flee markets and second hand shops (or on Etsy!), where I do my shopping.

All pieces in my shop are unique and handmade and they come in limited numbers. I never buy big quantities of fabric. I only use organically produced or left-over "waste" fabrics that the fashion industry doesn't care to use anymore. Nothing in my little production goes to waste: The original pattern is always made to create very little fabric waste, small fabric cuttings that remains becomes clothes for me or my kids (or their dolls) and when there is really nothing left, just scraps, I put them in a bag and make sofa cushions of them. Or quilts. I like this way of eco-friendly living.

My life, everything I see around me makes me want to create. I need the process. It's such a satisfaction to draw something on a piece of paper, make the pattern or drape it, sew a prototype and finally, there it is in my hand, the finished garment. I love every part of it. And when I see someone wearing it - that's the best part!

My clothes are made with 20 years of sewing and pattern cutting experience, 10 years professionally in the British, Swedish and Belgian Fashion Industry (I've been a fashion design assistant, pattern cutter, pattern cutter teacher, textile teacher, production coordinator ...)

The raori girls are eco-concious, playful and young-minded women with a strong style-identity who prefer a timeless personal style, based on who they are and what they like rather than follow seasonal fashion trends. raori clothes are easy and comfortable to wear.

raori is a one-person production which means I do everything myself: I design the clothes, make and grade the patterns, cut the fabric and sew everything here in my little studio north of Stockholm, Sweden.

I wanted to do something good in my life, where I could work for a better environment and without hurting anyone and that, combined with having kids is how my shop was born. My Etsy shop is the perfect occupation for me to be able to stay home with my kids, and my little ones enjoy helping me as well.
